- ↑ WLCW 0011 lists him as having been killed by disease on December 7, 1863 in Richmond, Virginia. However, he is also listed on WLCW 0027 in the 6th Wisconsin Infantry as dying of wounds on June 10, 1864 in Wisconsin. For now it has been left this way.
