- ↑ Listed under the 2nd Independent Battalion, but likely name was transferred on the rolls while he was in prison. The National Park Service also has a profile for him under Charles B. Allen in the 6th Wisconsin Infantry / Company H, but he does not appear in the Roster or the Losses sources for the 6th Infantry
