- Transferred to the 2nd Wisconsin Infantry - Independent Battalion / Company B on June 10, 1864
- Died on September 12, 1864 of disease in Andersonville, Georgia[2]

- ↑ RWV (1) 0377 spells his name Anthon Trautman, and RWV (1) 0383 spells it Anton Trautman. WLCW 0029 spells his name A. Trontman. For now it has been left this way.
- ↑ WLCW 0029 lists him killed in the 6th Wisconsin Infantry. Perhaps he was transferred in name before the news of his death reached the roll.
