- ↑ RWV (1) 0382 lists him as having joined the 2nd Wisconsin Infantry - Independent Battalion / Company B and transferring to the 6th Wisconsin Infantry / Company H with the note "See Co. B, 2nd Wisconsin Infantry." However RWV (1) 0351 lists him as having been killed at Spotsylvania, as does WLCW 0008. RWV (1) 0526 lists him as having transferred to the 6th Infantry and being absent at the muster out of the regiment. Final status here has been left KIA, but is still unclear
