Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Department of Kentucky was a Union Military Department created on May 28, 1861. It consisted of the portion of Kentucky lying within 100 miles of the Ohio River. It was merged into the Department of the Cumberland on August 15, 1861, and recreated on February 10, 1865.
