Camp Randall, Wisconsin

Camp Randall was a former training camp in Madison, Wisconsin for many of the units sent off to the fronts. For a time early in the war, it also housed Confederate prisoners of war captured on the Mississippi River.

  • Land originally owned by the Wisconsin Agricultural Society
  • Renamed in honor of Governor Alexander Randall
