Detached from Regiment and designated 9th Battery December 7, 1861. Attached to Defenses of Washington, D.C., to February, 1863. 3rd Brigade, Haskins' Division, 22nd Army Corps, Dept. of Washington, to March, 1863. 2nd Brigade, Haskins' Division, 22nd Army Corps, to April, 1864. 3rd Brigade, Haskins' Division, 22nd Army Corps, to June, 1864.
SERVICE.--Duty in the Defenses of Washington north of the Potomac, at Fort Washington, until June, 1864.
