Duty in La Fourche District and Defences of New Orleans until january, 1863. Garrison at Ship Island, Miss., January 9 to June, 1863. East Pascagouga, Miss., April 9, 1863. Designation of Regiment changed to 2nd Regiment, Corps de Afrique, June 6, 1863.
