Organized at Camp Dennison, Ohio, and mustered in May 16, 1864. Left State for Washington, D.C., May 20. Attached to 1st Brigade, DeRussy's Division, 22nd Army Corps, to July, 1864. 2nd Brigade, De-Hussy's Division, 22nd Army Corps, to August. Assigned to duty as garrison at Forts Ethan Allen, Marcy, Reno and Stevens, Defenses of Washington, until August 23.
Mustered out August 30, 1864.
Lost during service 22 Enlisted men by disease.
