- Confederate Major General Theophilus Holmes makes an attempt on the Union left flank at Turkey Bridge in Henrico County, Virginia on June 30, 1862 while the main body of Union forces in engaged just north at the Battle of Glendale
. The attempt is half-hearted and is easily repulsed.
