Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Department of Mississippi was a Union Military Department created on March 15, 1862 from the Department of Missouri, the Department of the Ohio, and the Department of Kansas. It was merged back into the Department of Missouri on September 19, and recreated on November 28, 1864.
