SERVICE--Duty in the Defenses of New Orleans, La., at Brashear City, Baton Rouge and Port Hudson, La., until September, 1864. Skirmish at Spanish Hill, La., April 2, 1864. Bayou Boeuf May 7. Wilson's Landing May 14. Expedition to Clinton August 23-29. Skirmishes at Olive Branch, Corette River and Clinton August 25. Consolidated with 1st Louisiana Cavalry September 7, 1864.
