Franklin, Tenn., Army of Kentucky, Dept. of the Cumberland, to June, 1863. 3rd Brigade, 1st Division, 21st Army Corps, Army of the Cumberland, to October, 1863. 3rd Brigade, 2nd Division, 4th Army Corps, Army of the Cumberland, to October, 1864. 1st Brigade, 2nd Division, 4th Army Corps and Dept. of Texas, to September, 1865.
SERVICE.--Moved from Louisville, Ky., to Nashville, Tenn., January 28, 1863; thence to Franklin, Tenn., March 5, and duty there until June. Repulse of attack on Franklin March 9. Moved to Triune June 2, thence to Murfreesboro, Tenn. Middle Tennessee (or Tullahoma) Campaign June 23-July 7. At Hillsboro July 3-August 5.
