- November 22, 1862 - Regiment broken up and battalions reorganized at Camp Bisland
- April 13-14, 1863 - Fort Bisland
- May 10-22, 1864 - Red River Campaign
- April 8, 1864 - Mansfield
- April 9, 1864 - Pleasant Hill
- November 14, 1863[1] - Consolidated into 4 companies at Simmesport and consolidated with the 18th Louisiana Infantry and re-designated as the 18th (Consolidated) Louisiana Infantry
