The Lynchburg Campaign was a series of military engagements in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia from May 26-June 29, 1864.

Sub-Operations

While not explicitly part of a larger campaign, this campaign ties in very closely to the events of (Sheridan's) Shenandoah Valley Campaign and (Early's) Raid on Washington and operations against the B&O Railroad

OHIO--8th Cavalry; 1st Indpt. Battery Light Arty.; 12th, 23d, 28th, 34th, 36th, 91st, 116th and 123d Infantry. PENNSYLVANIA --14th, 20th and 22d Cavalry; 3d and 4th Reserve Infantry, 54th Infantry.
