  • June 1863 - Companies A/D/F/G served as light artillery, the balance of the unit served as heavy artillery
  • June 21, 1863 - Company K organized from members of Company G
  • April 1, 1864 - Companies H/I/K disbanded, deemed to have been formed illegally
