Israil P. Abbott[1] was a private in the 1st Alabama Cavalry (U) / Company A.

Residence was not listed; Enlisted on 10/1/1862 as a Private.

On 10/1/1862 he mustered into "L" Co. AL 1st Cavalry He died of disease (date not stated) at Chattanooga, TN

(Estimated date of enlistment.  Died in 1865)
