The Battles of Chattanooga, Tennessee, fought from November 23-November 25, 1863, marked the beginning of a Union offensive in Tennessee to drive Confederate forces out of the area.

  • NOTE: Dyer lists this battle interchangeably with the Chattanooga Campaign - no separate casualties given here from the other battles in this short campaign. Some unit profiles specify this battle (though some do not originally include the campaign if they do include this battle).
