Streight's Independent Brigade, Dept. of the Cumberland to May, 1863. 2nd Brigade, 4th Division, 14th Army Corps, Army of the Cumberland, June to October, 1863. 3rd Brigade, 3rd Division, 11th Army Corps, Army of the Cumberland, to December, 1863. 3rd Brigade, 1st Division, 4th Army Corps, Army of the Cumberland, to June, 1865.

SERVICE.--Pursuit of Bragg into Kentucky October 1-16, 1862.

March to Munfordsville, Ky., October 12-18, and duty there until November 30. Expedition to Cave City October 31-November 26. Moved to Bledsoe Creek November 30. Pursuit of Morgan to Bear Wallow December 26; 1862-January 2, 1863. Moved to Nashville, thence to Murfreesboro, Tenn., January 3-10, and duty at Murfreesboro until April.

Expedition to Woodbury March 3-8. Vaught's Hill, Milton, March 20. Moved to Nashville, Tenn., April 7, and attached to Streight's Provisional Brigade. Moved to Eastport, Miss., April 12-19, thence march to Tuscumbia, Ala., and Regiment mounted. Streight's Raid from Tuscumbia toward Rome, Ga., April 26-May 3. Day's Gap April 28. Sand Mountain April 30. Crooked Creek, Hog Mountain, April 30. East Branch Black Warrior Creek May 1. Blount's Farm May 2. Near Centre May 2. Cedar Bluffs May 3. Surrendered to vastly superior forces under Forest. Paroled. Moved to Atlanta, Ga., thence to Richmond, Va., and Annapolis, Md., May 4-17. Moved to Camp Chase, Ohio, May 19. Declared exchanged June 23, and moved to St. Louis, Mo., thence to Nashville, Tenn., and Stevenson, Ala., June 29-September 8. Moved to Battle Creek, Tenn., October 16, and to Bridgeport, Ala., October 23. Reopening Tennessee River October 26-29. Battle of Wauhatchie, Tenn., October 28-29. Duty in Lookout Valley until November 23.
