Moved to Rockville, Md., September 2, and attached to 2nd Brigade, 3rd Division, 5th Army Corps, Army of the Potomac. Duty at Sharpsburg, Md., until October 30. Moved to Falmouth, Va., October 30-November 17. Battle of Fredericksburg, Va., December 12-15. Burnside's 2nd Campaign, "Mud March," January 20-24. 1863. At Falmouth until April 27.
